Before she played Christine Cagney, was she also a childhood television heroine of Eddie Albert's, having to watch the movies & Green Acres, before co-starring in "Switch". Also, had she heard of Albert's death, 4 yrs. ago?
see thats why i love Queer as Folk and every actor and actress that was in that show was part of the biggest and bravest show i have ever seen. They all took chances and were absoloutley amazing in their characters. It was definately a ground breaking show and Sharon and all the rest of the actors did a great job!
I too was a teen when the show was on and I loved it, for showing strong, powerful role models that I looked up to, I remember in NY it went on the same night as my other favorite role model to this day, Candice Bergen in "Murphy Brown",, it showed these women could do anything a man could do yet still show our female vulnerabilities and handle them,, Love your videos,,, It must be great to be thought of as role model don't you think? HMMMMMM someday????
I just would like to say that thanks to Sharon Gless and Tyne Daly us girls that were teenagers in the 80's learned that we could have it all and because we learned from them the next generation also knows that they can have it all. These two women are great because for all of the problems that they had personally they shared them with us and never denied anything, we learned from their real life dramas and from their being on tv in C&L
Look all of us gain weight for one reason or another. We just have to either try to lose it or live with it and be happy and healthy. I know that even with losing the weight you might not be happy or healthy.
ah thank u so much 4 the vid i've met both ladies & their so lovely i really admire their honesty when being interview & i couldnt careless if Sharon puts on 50lb or Tye 4 that matter their ALWAYS beautiful & wonderful actresses to me love em 4 ever

Regardless of age, weight, etc., Sharon remains one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen on the screen, inside & out.
