Of course there's also the oil which plays a part in why the western states are so interested in stabilizing the political situation in those countries, but that's not the only reason. You'll find that they often cooperate with the local government against the terrorists, not conquer the country. This was actually my platoon this isn't a helmet cam film it was just my old squad leader holding a camera he couldn't get the shudder open, there was a bunch of bad guys high on opium shooting ak's and rpk's at us. You can't really see the rounds flying ton well cameras in 2005 weren't as great as they are now days. But to answer your questions yes it's the army, yes it's 3rd infantry division alpha company 1-15 infantry. And yes I am the guy in between the trucks shooting the m203 grenade lau
