The real partner in development of Africa is China.In the past decade, China managed to bring greater development in Africa,which the west did not even try in three centuries.

Because of the manipulative British History in eastern Africa, We find it very difficult to believe your assertions even if them may stem from proper research. I would rather side with the government of Ethiopia on any thing concerning my country for now.

We cannot demand developing nations to abide by the same luxurious regulations we go by. They are trying to improve their future and stand on their own two feet. I find it very interesting that all these people are British. Egypt used to be a British colony and was part of the reason why Ethiopia got screwed over in the first place. I believe these people are somehow connected with people or are themselves heavily invested in Egyptian businesses which depend on the Nile. USA supports your DAM !

The only assessment that is needed is how high the dam should be built. I find it funny when academicians start to talk about real world problems. You have no idea how to affect change in a country like Ethiopia... but I really applaud you for your clean conscious and purity of motive. wow - white Europeans trying to tell us how to live our lives. Can the whites come up with any project that they had with out any cost to nature or people?. When it comes to Africa, all the books are being thrown at us. In case they don't know, Ethiopian has never been ruled by white before, so why try now?
