Auto tune and studio technicians probably helped a lot here. A lot of so-called artists today only do playback live, because their singing really isn't much outside a studio.

Not to mention this song was already sung long ago by the real Runaways, and they didn't have auto-tune back then. They had to sing live.

Kristen can act, if you watch all the movies she's in- like this one, Zathura, and Panic Room you can tell she's really good. it's just people base her character off of Bella and it's not Kristen's fault that Bella is the most boring and uninteresting character in novel history :P
