    This isn't one of those little "wank" lathes, so it is very rigid.

  • the tool is stuck out to much. it is going to a wank finish

  • We have a couple of LeBlond's in our shop. My question is how to date them.

  • Leblond still keeps records on most of their old machines. If you call them with the serial number, they will have all the info. Mine was delivered to Westinghouse Electric in June, 1943.

    I hope you dont need to buy parts from them though. They are scalpers to the max. I make and sell the

    2 1/8-5 TPI chuck backing plates on ebay.

    The material is drill rod.

    The completed threaded section will be milled into a gear

    cutting hob, then hardened.
