Leblond still keeps records on most of their old machines. If you call them with the serial number, they will have all the info. Mine was delivered to Westinghouse Electric in June, 1943.

2 1/8-5 TPI chuck backing plates on ebay.

The material is drill rod.
The completed threaded section will be milled into a gear
cutting hob, then hardened.
