You will find only some songs not in the "pseudo world music" style, but they are gems. And you can find some real traditional music CDs too.
On the other side, Norovbanzad said she wanted to make modern music to keep traditions alive for young ppl...so it's up to you : you can listen to modern (Sorma, Enigma...) sampled music or traditional ;)
honestly this would have been ten times better accapella. i am so tired of these long songs with stupid dance trance music in the background... i am fan trance as much as your next guy but come on the long song is most beautiful on its own or with traditional instruments.
I have a question. Theres a particle in The Eyes of Truth from Enigma sang in mongolian Urtin Duu. Is that part of the music from an original mongolian song? Wich one is that? ^^
Im a mongolian. But even mongolians dont understand, what they are singing. Because it is long song. If they say one work like that. ( I love u ) example ( iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, lllllllooooooooooooooooooveeeeeeeeeeee uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu ) so it is really not easy to understand the meaning, If i read the text , then i can understand , If not ,nobody can understand it , maybe only the singer
This song is called "Dear soft wind" it is centuries old song. The song classification is "urtiin dou" or Long Song. If you search Khongorzul and "urtiin duu" in youtube you'll find many other this miracle music there.
i wish i could speak mongolian its so butifual and enchanting to speak i love the vilges in mongolia i have seen them in a specail book called tribal asia and i fell inlove with the photos.
i love this wowman singing she is butiful with her singigng i love mongoilan music evan though i am australian i have grate respect ofr other cutuals bless mongolia
Wow, simply wonderful! The computer animations and KG's voice are just such a powerful combination: A tragic story, her astonishing way of twisting her voice, Mongolia's ancestral sounds reverberating thru the soul of this wonderful lady, takes one on a roller coaster ride with those pitches! Bravo KG!
This would be an amazing alarm :D
It's so beautiful.

Yes, it is indeed a Mongolian Urtiin duu called "Alsiin gazriin zereglee" sang by an extraordinary singer, who passed away, named Norovbanzad.

Is this singer Khongurzul or Norovbanzad?

Seeing that the person who uploaded the video is named "Khongorzul", it's probably safe to assume that it's Khongorzul in the video, too.
Regardless, it's excellent.

Khongorzul. Is that her name? Cause I love it...all of it!
