I agree, I play keyboard; not formally, I can listen to a song, and then play it note by note, since I was about 6. I can also write songs, the words and rhythms just flow. My daughter took to violin so naturally. My oldest daughter can write songs effortlessly. I just found that my 13 year old son, whom I thought was rhythmically challenged, has the same ability on the keyboard as I do. Its most definitely inherited the genetic makeup past down from generation to generation.
