Their problem was promotion. There is a market out there for music like this. Trust me, I know. I heard their first song and went straight to itunes to download their album. The fact that they broke up is truly unfortunate. If I owned a concert venue I' have got them out there to play ASAP.
Agreed. Unfortunately, today, bands like this need a massive infusion of cash to promote their wares. It wasn't the case in the 70s, when sheer talent and "vibe" got you noticed. Now, it's all about exposure amid a sea of mediocrity.
This was a party. Partying is simply getting wasted today. You don't need to be wasted to lose your mind in this stuff from San Fran.
