  • when someone punches u...just throw a front kick to his knee...its the most simple comeback by bruce lee...none of that wax on wax off shit.

  • @utubeazn123 the knee thing wasnt by bruce lee, its from the style wing chun

  • You can also mix in a strike as cover, backfist or kick to the ribs, as you are turning your body for the throw. In the proper application, you would also throw them on their head. I've seen a move exactly like this from jujitsu.

  • It is a principle, you just can't see it. You can initiate this move as a counter for a grab as well, or anytime your opponent has an opposite arm straight out like that. On the ground, it's a bit unusual, but it can be situationally useful if someone's got your back and you can catch their arm straight. You'll probably not get a tap-out but might get a throw or a backdoor escape.

  • this looks alot like judo but less... effective? Harder? I dunno, Im not trying to diss tai chi, Ichecked this out coz I quite enjoy my experience of it and our teacher always goes on about its martial application, but It just looks so much more cumbersome than and actaul fighting styles ive seen

  • @Davnios the proper application is to snap the elbow and they get thrown as well, he tones it down to AVOID breaking arm

  • This is BS. I'm sick of these self righteous fighting styles being obsessed with catching and twisting wrists.

Muay Thai is the ultimate stand up fighting style!!

If you're gay, give this comment a thumbs down.

  • @aa3gunner well heres another idiot whos brain washed by the popular media. in muay thai both fighter get hit and it often comes down to chance who gets knocked out first. even a retard with no experience can get a lucky shot in ans knock a pro out. in situations with more than 1 attacker muay thai or boxing or any of the ring sports would be usless, thoes styles are sports not real fighting styles

  • @MDNSBS: Oh! is that why Muay THai is utilized by Military forces in hand to hand combat training? Muay Thai directly came out from the Thai people's fight against the Burmese. It was just toned down to be accepted as a combat sport. This Kung Fu crap..you won't have time to perform these moves in a life and death situation. I have 3 yrs of intensive Muay Thai training. It takes years to punch, kick, knee, elbow, sweep, and clinch correctly. You're the one who's been brainwashed by kungfu movies

  • @aa3gunner if your in a real fight and your trying to clinch your a fag. if it took you 3 years to learn that, your a fag, ive never seen a kung fu movie and i agree a lot of the moves you see in kung fu videos are impossible to do in a real fight, but you have more time in a fight than you think. in most kung fu styles you are taught to be relaxed and to stay relaxed and clam under pressure, and when you are totaly relaxed you can see things and react and move faster.

  • @aa3gunner and when you train and get these movements drilled into your head you can do it b4 you know what you did

  • @aa3gunner you may not understand the chinese fighting styles but they can work if you learn the right way, they have been tested and in wars when ones life was devoted to the art, we didnt always have guns and people had to be able to kill with their bare hands at one time in history, how often does some1 die in mma? oh yeah, never

  • yes priciples are more important than techniques and once you learn the correct priciples techniques are easy to learn, however showing techniques and practicing them allows you to test your principles and also the technque can then go into subconcious, thought the video was good and if you look you will see principles!

  • "when He... then I...."

What about the principles? You can't fight with a pattern!

  • Agreed Monkfg, this video should focus on the ChinNa technique at the center of this video, and then show ways to set it up.

I like that they show it as a punch defense and give you the option of turning it into a throw, however there is a problem in not showing it at full speed.
