Somebody needs to learn to read properly. It's not gay to play in a marching band, or to play any of the instruments in one. I'm not saying it is. It's cool if thats what you play. Marching tunes are cool if thats what you're into, but most of em would sound like complete shit on an electric guitar. You want to cover something in a unique way? Great idea. But don't ruin it for the sake of being unique.

You don't put Chocolate sauce in your glass of orange juice just so you can say you're creative. So don't take a song that lives and breathes Evil, dark, ballsy tones and make it sound happy and full of joy. The song is more than just a good song, it sounds the way it does for a reason.

uhmmm Seemed like the band was off balance sound wise, just sounded like they blasted there horns. Brass also missed a LOT of partials. I didn't really approve of how the trubones would like scoop down in the beginning made it unproffessional, haha and also the mentronome was playing in the background, signs of an amateur band. I wonder what the director thinks?

Just saying it like it is, and I can tell what a horn blasting sounds like... and co ordinating does take a lot of effort, yes. However, if the band works hard enough they can do waaaaaay better than the performance displayed.

it's really not that hard. my first year marching with a trombone was my sophomore year and I didn't have any problems. It was just different feeling.
It was sweet but considering we were a 30 piece band with only like 4 flute, 6 clarinets, 5 trumpets, 1 barry, 1 alto [me] one tenor, one bass clarinet and one trombone and the full percussion it could have been better!
Most of the band was made of freshman and there were only like 8 or 9 seniors. Us and like 3 juniors made all of the sound so it was rough!

you might be really good and you might be one of the best bands in ohio but this is the michigan marching band... and not very many other COLLEGE marching bands are better than them and u of m has an INCREDIBLE music program so again i HIGHLY doubt that some little high school in ohio is better not disputing that you're good again its really hard to be better but you're definitlely not and i say that with complete confidence
They are a whole lot cleaner then this. First of all, the sound quality is horrible and second of all its only halfway through the week. They still had a few days to clean up the music. Can you do better? I dont think so
