about one of the greatest pieces of music I've ever listented to. Been a great admirer of Jakob's dad for centuries now and must say: he's well on the way to step out of Mr. Zimmermann's mighty shade. Nothin' in the whole wide world like it.
I would suggest Tom Waits to anyone who likes Bob Dylan and Jakob Dylan for that rough gritty sound. Start with the song Hold On by Tom Waits, the rest of Mule Variations is a fair representative of him as well.
Rather then Judging, why don't we all just sit back and Liston! This song is so very addicting, and motivational. I can think of two things Bob past on to his son, "His faith in God and love for music"! However they are still two very unique artist and I'm sure his Dad is extremely proud of what his son has accomplished...man how wouldn't be. I'm also sure, Jacob is thankful for what Dylan has taught him.
Hey, this Dylan can actually sing...and so well! (Sorry Bob, bought every single record you ever made and see you in concert many times....but your son is true class!)
i love that he sounds exactly the same live as he does on the albums. what you see is what you get. my second favorite singing voice after bob. rough and honest and perfect.
As a long time fan of Dylan Sr, I have to say that the son has out done the father. He has the same passion that his father had in his early days. I've been rather disappointed in Dylan Sr since the 80s. Dylan Jr has recaptured his father's magic.
I bet this guys parents are proud of him. Who ever they are?

Reminds me of James Taylor. Which is fantastic, though, I would love a little bit of his Dad thrown into the mix.

It says alot about Dylan that he has Neko Case and Kelly Hogan as back up vocals. They are gems.
