Not to take anything away from them, they are far better than me and most of those I have ever grappled with over the course of 5 years; their wrestling overall looked pretty bad.

This isn't the case with all purples as some at my gym school collegiate wrestlers.

I don't think its necessary, but at this level when BJJ is equal wrestling can make a big difference between to equally match BJJ players.

he is good, but he only did anything in the last 2 minutes, got no points only adv, (which i don't know why) never passed the gaurd even though he was working really hard too and never came close to any of his chokes. . .

@darrellknell You're such an idiot bro. Matt Sanchez didn't get robbed, he didn't score a point that's why he lost. He never had the take down because Ary pulled guard first, and he definitely didn't pass Ary's guard because he couldn't stabilize.

hmm he seems to have a very good butterfly and de la riva guard, great sweeps, and a good leglock game. he also initiates his game immediately from the get go, never pausing his attacks

WTF? I wrestled for over 10 years growing up and now train in BJJ. Wrestling helped me with transitioning and weight distribution. Do wrestlers come in fast and strong yes because a match is only 6 mins long. It just takes a little bit to settle down and understand 2 mins isn't shit.
