My Grandmother and her life was always a big spiritual inspiration to me. She passed away in a small town, of a small country, half world away from me. I never had a chance to say farewell to her :'(
i dont know why but this song reminds me of my boyfriend ...he's from croatia thats why i think it reminds me of him...i like the song though even though i dont know what they are saying
You really must be in-love with him if a random song from the same place of origin as you BF reminds you of him
The song is performed by elderly women in prayer-like stile. They are praising St. Mary, and humbly asking her to pray for their wellbeing and that of their small village which, according to author of this video has: shrank down from 800 to only 30 villagers.
It is one heavyhearted song that touches ones soul in a warm grandmother sort of a way.
I am :) like the way we ended up with each other we thought the same thing some of it is really hard o explain, im leaving for college soon and i told him ill be with him still thats how much i love him and he knows that but i listened to this song a couple of weeks after we started to dated and i was like it remined me of him because hes from there but i figured the song was something good and it has something to do with coming from the heart .... i love this song though its very relaxing :)
That kind off reminds me on my own first big love. She came from Australia to attend University while I was already in second year of college. We were eighteen and crazy in love from the first day (how we met would make even Hollywood screen writers jealous :P ) Then my family moved to USA and I had to make one of my biggest and hardest decisions in my life. Given my as well as hers circumstances we came to the conclusion (unwillingly, mind you) it would be for the best
We stayed in non-stop contact for a long time after, desperately hoping something will change on my end or on hers that might bring us together again. Weeks passed, then months, then a year and then two. Eventually we grow apart and the phone fall silent. I guess we both new it was over even long before our harts wanted to admit to it. It is unimaginably more difficult to grow apart form someone you love then to just brake up and go on
Knowing what I know now I think if I had to do it over again I would have not tolled her I had to go and instead done something stupid in order to get her to brake up with me. At least I would have saved her the experience. That reminds me on something (old saying perhaps?) I was ones tolled. But thats another story. I wish you guys better luck then we had, thats all.
yea i have a lot of ppl who tell me all kinds of things, we decided to stay togther but we are going to take baby steps and just let things flow, but hes the third person i fell in love with all the other guys ive said i fallen in love with i knew i wasnt being true to them and myself but the other two and him i know i meant it.... u only allow three great ones in ur life... but i know we will make it and im keeping the faith and being strong and so is he. but i think its scarier for him than me
which i can understand, it takes a lot of trust for us to trust each other and i can say hes the first guy i really do trust for the first .... i dunno like things are really hard to explain about him and i ...i can describe it but the words are hard to put together becuase they way i feel about him i know hes the one and like its really hard to explain ha ha but i should be fine and he should be fine once i get home and he sees me we will love each other only more and get stronger from there
Of curse it feels better and different then anything before. Of curse it's impossible to describe with words. Of curse you know it's going to work out because...well because it has to. And of cures you are going to give it all. Why? Because it's love, of curse ;)
P.S An older gentleman on our High-School graduation (who we all knew quite well) concluded his speech buy saying: "Now go out there and fall in love like you have never imagined you could before, give it absolutely all you got, and then ones you have gotten over it you would have become a man." We all laughed as if it was a joke never suspecting it to be the right of passage we will have jet to learn to respect and one we will never forget.
It's such a beautiful song! I really like it. Probably cause it sounds close to me... I am from Bulgaria and if there is a man of another nation whom I would call "brother" it would be a Croatian man. :)

Essa música parece um grupo de lavadeiras de Januária (Norte de Minas) cantando um mantra indiano.
