I despise this game. The graphics make it unclear if certain platforms are actual platforms, and the levels are very poorly design. Either being boring and easy, or being unfair. I'd give it a 3/10 DKC2 on the other hand, is amazing and fixes everything from the original!

DK's first adventure with Rare.  I love the sound that defeated Kremlings make. So funny. You know, anyone whose played Brawl can see the resemblance between the Kongs and the relative moves/areas and this game. The music in Coral Capers has one of my fave music pieces. Makes me want to float away for a time. By the way, does Cranky save your game for you? I think I remember that happening. You can get some helpful hints from him, I'm sure...and some tales from his past, too.

I love this game, one of my faverites of all time, perfect graphics, if they remade it (Again) and made the graphics new than i would be very angry, also the controlls are great, love the stages, and is the perfect difficulty, the stages get ridiculusly hard (Stuck on world 4) but the game gives you so many lives it lowers the difficulty to just right

I still haven't 100%'d this game on VC yet...I can't bring myself to look it up just to do it real quick, but watching it here will be fun. Good surprise LP! I also like DKC2 best out of the original three, although sadly I've never finished it. Once was due to renting the game, the other on the VC is due to other games crowding it out, as well as the difficulty of that last area.
