I have 3 albums and box full of Soviet and foreign stamps from my grandmother. I want make a video, maybe it will be interesting, personal i don't know anything about stamps.
It shows what a fucked up world it is where millions are starving, yet some people will pay thousands or even millions for a one inch square piece of paper. And people wonder why aliens don;t bother contacting us.
The joshie1998 Another Good video but "Thejoshie1998" Can stick the fucking cards up his arse as stamp collecting is the worlds most popular hobby with over 55Million Enthusiasts and collects ranging from an average every day person to the queen and Barack Obama !!!
Haha that comment by "Thejoshie 1998" is very funny. The funny part being he has searched for, then viewed a video on stamps, hahaha........ Hang on ..... So have I .... Oh, yes I'm interested in values, yours sincerely, Arsehole.
@TheJoshie1998 So you call president Roosevelt an idiot? Or the Japanese emperor? The British royal family? Chess world champion Anatoly Karpov? Or any of the other 750 million men and women who have been collection stamps over the last 2 centuries? Your comment is the stupid remark of an ignorant imbecile, so go away, stop criticising adults and spend your time more useful growing up.
@d7gh2u99wd I believe they sold for 4-5 million $A. They were until very recently the most expensive stamp item in the world. Apparently somebody has paid $A 20m for a number 1 plate block of some recent USA stamp, or something...
@IMA60SKID The best place to look is on eBay or similar. You can get catalogue but they tend to over inflate the common stuff and under rate the really rare stuff, because they are written by biased dealers.
i was recently givin a large amount of stamps from different countries probly about id say 2000 stamps i dont know anything about them or what theyre worth any tips?
@creamofcardstv - my grandma was a reporter and a traveler, she gave me this old book that is falling apart and it has tons of stamps in it from all over the world? Very old ones that I couldn't find anywhere on the internet. Do you think they are worth anything? What do you suggest if one had rare stamps and wanted to profit from them?? Thanks!
no problem..i have made some research and there is actually a letter with the mixed franking of both the rare blue and the rare red(there are many blues and reds other types but not as pricy) startingprice was about 130000 dollars but i dont know what it was sold for and it was in 1993, i would estimate it to be worth over a mill today if sold on auction. at 2:51 is the most expensive stamp, was sold recently for 2.8 mill swiss francs about 2.5 mill dollars its the 3 skill. banco error of color
Where does one go to sell his rare stamp?

Most libraries have stamp catalogs.
You can also look at zillions of stamps, many stamps are listed.

I recently inherited a small collection of stamps from around the 1920s. I have yet to go through them, but I am somewhat excited.
