I'm sorry but what's the last thing you add to the vegetables? English is not my mother tongue so i didn't get it, sorry hehe!! Your cooking tutorials are great! Thanks for the ideas! :)
I made my version today, I was kind of snowed in but had picked up some things for it yesterday. All I can say is, yum! I did not find pumpkin, but found Anise Fennel, yum! Thanks for sharing and turning me onto trying out something different.

Dear YouTube all of the videos I subscribe to the audio cuts in and out. I have mentioned this several times please respond. This problem only happens on YouTube.
I really enjoy your cooking videos! I tried your roasted veggies last night with the feta and I'm in love!
You should do more fit videos and cooking videos...you inspire me and you cook so much yummy healthy food that I didn't really know was possible. Before for my diet I ate a bit of meat and either salad or just some veggies, I didn't realise you could actually make it taste good.
Thank you for these vids...btw can you do a bid of yourself doing insanity, I'd love to see the workout and ho
sorry but coriander is the famous mexican cilantro. It's really similar to the parsley, but it tastes more lemony! Really good for lots of things: pasta, fish, meat, soup, vegetables etc.
I grow them all the time on a window ledge in a long rectangular pot. You can cram 2 or 3 different herbs in one pot, they don't need a lot of space. I do this sometimes when I can't wait for summer to plant them outside. And seeds are cheap, so if it fails at least you didn't spend a lot of money trying!
@TheThirdShift you can grow most them (rosmary, basil, chives, thyme, oregano, parsley...) easily on a window sill - that's the way i do it. I even grow my own chili ;) or - if your flat is really tiny - there's also the "window farm project" ;) google it for inspiration. Thanks for sharing your recipes!
Ok so its like quarter to 1 in the morning here in Philadelphia and I'm just now watching this video. I love that dish I really want to try it. But Im not much of a cooker(scratch that )I dont cook at all. lol
I really really love these types of videos from you. Your story sounds so much like mine, that you've really inspired and encouraged me. Your views on diet and exercise are right on in my opinion, but my biggest problem is that I'm a huge dud in the kitchen! I have zero creativity when it comes to food, so I LOVE these videos from you and I go back to them often. Please do not stop! :) Thanks girl
Looks amazing. Love the flavor of fennel. Here's something that I do when I cook chicken like this. After I remove the chicken, I deglaze the pan w/ balsamic vinegar and add my citrus peel and spices letting that simmer for 2 min. then use as sauce.
Another great recipe! thanks Julia :) I'm also doing low carb now and plan to have the same success as you've had! Please keep the recipes and fitchat vids coming!
I love to cook a dish very similar to this one regularly...only do I use sweet potatoe and fresh garlic instead of the pumpkin and fennel. You can also just pop the chicken in the oven, it will cook together with the veggies and be really yummy...just for those who don't want to use an extra pan ;) Looks really delicious though, thanks for sharing!
200 C for vegetables? I heard 175 is the maximum for vegetables cause then they lose their good stuff (and burn). Same thing about olive oil, 200C is too high, I hear.
Hi, Julia! I have a question regarding your workout routine: Do you wash your hair every time you exercise? I've started working out, and the dilemma I encounter is that I don't like to wash my hair two or more days in a row, but I feel like I need to after sweating. Any tips?
@TexasGirl269 What I do if you want a nice tip (not proffessional) is I work out a lot too. At least an hour a day and I sweat profusely. I do take a shower but I don't wash my hair I just use dry shampoo. It helps cleans the hair and 'dry's' up the oils in the hair so that you hair doesn't look like you've been to the gym ;D Hope that helps!
@TexasGirl269 try co washing...washing hair with conditioner and shampoo and wash once per week. I know your still washing but your hair wont dry out your hair.
Your boyfriend sounds so sweet and fun! I like his accent, but i'm curious if he's pretending to have one, or if he really does....and what kind is it
Hey Julia, i love your cooking videos... I love tonsee how others cook because i get bored very easily of my own cooking... Iive also recently been cooking at home than eating out... Your comment of i rather waste my moneybon vacations rather than eating out.. Believe or not its also expensive to eat healthy here in the states!
This would be great with roasted sweet potato as well! Roasted sweet potatos are excellent with crushed red pepper, salt, garlic and onion powder .. a sweet, savory and spicy taste ... yummm .. eating healthy isn't hard .. I think alot of people just don't know how to spice up food too make it flavorful... and they fear adding too many flavors too things ... experimenting with layers of flavor is fun and makes vegetables taste great.
THAnks for your recipes ideas!!!
