This video proves to me once again how the economy is the one true democratizer, as opposed to any military power no matter how strong.
When I was in the army, 4-5 years ago, in the west bank, about 70-80% of the interactions with Palestinians I came across were regarding people who wanted to work in Israel. For money, to support the family. And I bet most of them don't know whats 'camp David'.
People give too much importance to politics; they miss what's really the deal at the end of the day
Sufficiency in iodine (again, crucial for brain power) can easily and cheaply be achieved through consumption of iodized salt and fish sauce (by pregnant women & children). People's intelligence contributes greatly to their nation's wealth. Thank you
Please join the effort by UNICEF and other legitimate charities to help preserve the genetically gifted IQ level and other mental/ physical development in children in Vietnam by eliminating deficiencies in iodine (directly related to IQ) and other micronutrients (iron, copper, potassium, etc), which are quite abundant and low cost in well developed nations.
why don't you talk about the basic freedom which most people in the world have exept VN , go talk to people working in the field , on the street trying to get by every day, don't sit in the restaurant or 5 star hotel
you have a good point, that has been made by many other people including probably some of those in the US who chose to go into war in vietnam. but good intentions is one thing reality is another(theres a saying the way to hell goes though good intentions). first let people make money. then, they could demand more rights for themselfs. if that was implied where i live things would be so much better.
