  • such a beautiful voice!

  • i love that he now plays marius :D ppl say he not as good as other versions but then agin he wsnt trained for broadway ! im not a JB fan but i <3 him :D

  • he fits better as Gavroche than Marius...he couldn't act Marius too well

  • @thegaythespian THANK YOU!!!!!!!

  • @thegaythespian He was better than Michael Ball.

  • @darthgrahf if you're referring to his singing, maybe acting: NO WAY...sorry, Michael Ball is Marius, and is an amazing acting and singing talent

  • @thegaythespian No, Jonas was Victor Hugo's Marius.

  • OMG He's so much better here!

  • OK WOW what happened to his voice???? He sings a million times better here. Less whiny, more singy. lol

  • @thearter12 for what?

  • @seeker07 for other Broadway audios? Like do u have this audio link to download? :)

  • do u have full audio for trade.

  • "this only goes to show what Little People CAN DO !" XD

  • amazing then and AMAZING NOW

  • Before you guys conclude that he sounded waaay better as a kid, listen to him perform as Marius first. Might surprise you.

  • @chocoberryvanilla His Marius is a pile of emotionless shite. He hasn't got the voice for Marius

  • @BAGibb There have been way better Mariuses out there. But I don't think he did too bad a job, especially in comparison to how he usually sings.

  • @chocoberryvanilla Ah yes well this is true - I just dont think he shouldve really played at the O2 for the 25th anniversary concert. Just seemed like a bit of a money spinner

  • even as a kid, his voice was AMAZING

  • if you guys were wondering why he can singer better as a kid... children often get really good bravado, like nick did here. also the fact that he generally sings pop/rock instead of musical theater would have changed his voice over the years so his voice would have gotten used to singing pop not musical theater.. if he kept at musical theater for awhile i think his voice would sound even better

  • his voice is fantastic here! i saw him playing marius in the west end and he was brilliant! his voice was actually way better than i was expecting - i love his voice and he's a wonderful musician, but i thought it would be really hard to get his voice in condition for the west end so fast after singing pop rock for so long. he was AMAZING! it was so strange hearing him sing with a british accent though haha!

  • He sounds like someone out of barney.

  • I dont understand y a soul in the world wud like the jonas brothers every 1 has 0 talent out of a capacity of 1,000,000,000

  • I thought joe was the one who played gavroche

  • i can't understand what he's saying.... but his voice is soooo cute i love it!!!!!! i can only hear "INSPECTOR!!!" at least i think thats what he says :) haha

  • I think Gavroche should be portrayed as a cockney slum boy, like the one from the 10th anniversary. This was a little to articulate, he annunciated too much for a child imo.

  • @FormerBokabeed See, I find it odd that so many people portray Gavroche with an English cockney accent, when the whole thing takes place in France...

  • @njishottlikeatamale but it's just so damn cute!

  • @omgITSLAURAAA Yes it is cute, and some of them do it really well without over doing it, and I don't mind that, but too many over do it and it's just inaccurate XD And that kind of thing bugs me hahaha!

  • i was lucky enough to see nick in les mis and he was soo incredible. he didnt have his normal rock singing voice. it was much softer and just soo beautiful. for those who are saying he sings better here than he does now. i disagree and i think you guys should go watch the 25th aniversary at the o2 before saying anything. singing in a musical and singing in a rock/pop band are two completely different things so oviously the style of singing is going to be different

  • He plays Marius is Les Miserables now and he is AMAZING!

  • @palepinkie28 Who does?

  • @palepinkie28 he absolutely was! he was fantastic!

  • awwwww :) haha he didnt even use a english accent!

  • I could have seen it! My oldest sister was crazy about that musical and my parents actually considered to take us to broadway to see it but then they thinked it was a shame for me and my other sister because we couldn't speak english there. And now, 7 years after I'm like: WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • HOLY CRAP. :O

  • that kid has had talent from such a young age. His voice is just wow.

  • sooo AMAZINGGGG

  • he sounds adorable and better like this

  • @nOWaNDaLWAYSkEVIN before you say that you should listen to him when he was in les miserables broadway recently. if you interested in heraring it i can tell you where you could listen to it.

  • He sounds more manly here than he does now.

  • Nick's voice is so cute :D

  • I'm going to see it on July 2nd!! I'm so excited, I've always wanted to see Les Miserables and what better time than when Nick is in it lol :) I hope he can pull it off but I'm sure he will :)

  • Going to see this in London on July 3rd. Nick is going to be Marius!

  • Nick Jonas is goig on Les miserables again. I could cry. No they would not be happy tears.

  • hes so cute :)

  • he's in it again but he's playing Marius this time x)

  • hes sooooo cute in this :) x

  • how do you know that it's Nick that's singing this?

  • @KirstenJoBrosForever You can tell by the way his voice sounds. He has kind of a unique cadence and tone that's pretty easily recognizable. Even my mom recognized his song from a bunch of others after I played his album in the car, haha :)

Anyways once you know someone's voice it's easier to identify it. So yup :)

  • @KirstenJoBrosForever Someone else on here has an actual video of him in this scene.

  • @lesmisgirl90 yeah I know I saw it! :)

I wonder if someone else has the vid in better quality. Maybe someone who works for the tv channel where the aired les mis or something...

  • @KirstenJoBrosForever Les Mis wasn't on TV... It's a Broadway show, a musical, a play, not a TV show. The video is actually pretty good quality, but it's not the best because it's illegal to record Broadway shows, whoever recorded had to keep the camera out of view.

  • @lesmisgirl90 I know it was a musical :) but I just thought that it was aired on tv one day I was just confused :P But ok now I get it thanx! :D

  • @KirstenJoBrosForever OH, I think you saw the video that a girl recorded from her TV, because she had it on DVD. There is a higher quality version that wasn't recorded from the tv.

  • @lesmisgirl90 yes it's that vid that I saw :) And wow where can I find the other one?

  • @KirstenJoBrosForever Just seach "theatercrazy111". He has it.

  • I can't wait to hear how his voice sounds now singing the Les Miz songs.

  • i like his voice when he was younger... but i think he sounds great as a teenager too woooo go nick ;p

  • If he had stuck with musical theatre.... *sighs wistfully*

  • @hazellwood Nah, if he had stuck with theatre, then we would be awfully deprived of the awesome band known as the Jonas Brothers. And we probably wouldn't even have heard of him. Oh that would be horrible!

  • @rachel1161979 To each their own, I guess. I'm actually not a huge fan of the Jonas Brothers- nothing against the group, I'm just not into that style of music. Yes, that would mean that many people wouldn't have heard of him, but that would also mean different people would have. They're bringing him in as Marius in the London production of Les Mis, and everyone is saying it's stunt casting- this probably wouldn't be nearly as big of a deal if musical theatre was still normal for him. :)

  • Wow! he is amazing!

  • Well, now I respect him a lot more . . .

  • I love Nick, trust me, I do.

But before he hit puberty, I could understand EVERYTHING he was saying while singing. Now I'm second guessing most of his words.

  • i have the video of him singing this on my account. man, the boy could sing!

  • and still can he

  • puberty people fools

  • he has the most beautiful voice :)

  • I'm not a big "Jonas fan" but, my god can that boy sing! And I agree, he should have stayed a pup....XD

  • stop hating , nick becoming a man

  • I'm not "hating", I'm just saying he sounds alot better as a child. I think he has a good voice, but it was more angelic and fun as a kid...please stop spamming to all of us who think that, it's OUR opinion, it's not like we said "we hate Jonas". Now THAT would be rude....

  • @LoliMacStar you are so right! i don't hate the jo bros but i think their voices could inprove.

  • @LoliMacStar

lol Ik! Im a HUGGGGEEE JB fan but I wish he'd sing like that Now.

  • @LoliMacStar have you heard any of the audio from him playing marius this past week?

its kinda sort of amazing. i cant even beleive its him.

  • @rhscheer4thehornets WHAT?! Where was this?!? Is it coming to the San Diego Theater?! I want to see this on stage, but to see Nick as "Monsiour Merius", oooo I've always wanted to be Eponene, but to work side by him, would be a dream!!!

  • @rhscheer4thehornets sameee I was like WOW

  • @LoliMacStar before you say that you should listen to him when he was in les miserables broadway recently. if you interested in heraring it i can tell you where you could listen to it.

  • @LoliMacStar Have you seen his new Broadway stuff as Marius? It will blow your mind. It made is hard fr me to believe that it was actually him..

  • @jonasfan4ever55 it wasn't broadway it was west end..

  • @LoliMacStar its not! in my debate club, we had a debate that the jonas brothers should be charged with the death of good music. most people said yes. it was proven!

  • @aryssa1995 The people have spoken!!!!

  • @LoliMacStar i agree. he sounds better here than he does now. ha.

  • I Love Him

  • i think he sings beter then than he did now

  • hater

  • hey i love nick i think he just had a better voice for his age then he sings beautifuly nowand then

  • @Hersheys641 before you say that you should listen to him when he was in les miserables broadway recently. if you interested in heraring it i can tell you where you could listen to it.

  • @Hersheys641 type in nick singing in les mis..he sounds AMAZING!

  • even when he's...however old he is here, he still has an AMAZING voice

  • I think I like Nick Jonas's little boy vioce even more thatn his manly voice xD

  • woah!

  • Woah amazing!

  • i saw nick as gavroche when i was like 5...lol!

he was amazing!!!he's the reason i want 2 be on broadway! i saw him perform and i turned to my mom and said "i wanna be on broadway" :)

  • @amber222cute AHHH you are so lucky!!! i wish i could have seen baby nick perform. for real. he's my favorite little kid ever haha. and that's awesome that he was inspiring people even before all of the jobro craziness!!

  • i downloaded this paly but it was not the one wid nick in it :( but it was good it wouldve been better if it was the one with nick!

  • AHHH! I want to see this play so badly! I'm excited though because our school is performing it and I'm in it! :D

  • haha. he has a cute little voice.

  • haha this is a musical not for young girls

if your in musical theater y ou will know what i mean haha

nick did an amazing job i wish i could have seen it.. i saw beauty and the beast tho:)

  • "this is a musical not for young girls"

Too true, that. :) Kudos to Nick.

  • i definitely agree with that statement, this is a very...mature musical, and an amazing one at that.

i am so highly disappointed i didn't get to see it before it was taken away, but oh well.

eponine is my dream role, but then again, she's every girls who loves this play.

  • i saw it 3 times...twice b4 it got taken off, last time during the revival

if i could marry and show i swear, les miserables is the first!lol

i think there should be another revival, like soon lol

  • amen to that!

ahh, it really is amazing.. listened to the soundtrack yesterday for the first time in a long time....its still as wonderufl as ever. :D

  • i just got the soundtrack for my mom! we did have it, but i used to listen 2 it alot and well....i was young and the cds got all scratched....so my mom had 2 throw it out. then she wanted to buy the soundtrack online but she could only find london recording (she didnt want the london recording...she's picky lol!). i walked into barnes and noble and found it...she wasnt 2 happy about that but she's glad 2 be listening 2 it!

  • is the soundtrack with nick singing? or another gavroche?

  • @xoxoKevinJonasxoxo

no, there are multiple cast recordings, none with nick. He was never in any original casts or concerts of it. There are four major English recordings, Original London, Orignal Broadway, Tenth Anniversy, and The Complete Symphonic recording. even though none have Nick, you really should buy one, its absolutly fantastic.

  • Not mine. I'm freakishly obsessed and I want to be Cosette.

But yeah this show isn't for kids. prostitution, barricades, suiced, death, not fun.

  • Comment removed

  • No offense to fans, but I've heard much better Gavroches. He's okay, though. :)

  • who is playing javert in this picture?

  • nick jonas from the jonas brothers

  • that would be gavroche. nick plays gavroche, not javert, otherwise he would be siging about himself xD

  • @xoxoKevinJonasxoxo

Actaully, Javert sings in third person a lot :) Gosh he's so weird, but we all love him for that. XD

    But Nick!Javert would be creepy....

  • @hugokatie David Masenheimer

To the other person who replyed- Nick played Gavoroche, not Javert.

  • Ooooooo who played Javert in this version?!?

  • David Masenheimer

  • sooo my parents love that movie so they took me there. and yes i knew that.not trying to sound snobby. sorry.

  • I used to live in NYC and my parents were big brodway watchers so i actually saw nick in two plays les miserables and sound of music. it was cool

  • He wasn't in Sound of Music on Broadway. He was in it at the Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, New Jersey.

  • I love his "his name is Inspetor Javert!" (mainaly cuase I lot hearing Javert's name) I'm not a big jonas borther fan (sorry) but he is really good here! I have a lot of respect for him for being a broadway vet though!

  • That's good to know! People overlook his talent from back then because he is a Jonas Brother now, but when he was on Broadway, he was called "A singing prodigy" and compared to young Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson (RIP). He really was talented.

  • omg what play is this and how old was nick?? he sounded sssssooooooooo cccccccuuuuuutttttteeeeee!!!!!!! :D someone please help!!

  • I think he was 11 years old.

  • ok thx!! :DD lol it doesnt sound like him!! :)

  • Well this is from around 2003 if I'm not mistaken. You do the math. I dun wanna.

  • cuz hes younger

  • that's the opposite of what should happen. as you get older, your voice should mature and produce better tone.

  • nick getting better

  • his voice was strong!!

  • aww! he's soo good!

  • i bet you couldnt even sing half as good as nick.

  • "So you better run for cover when the pup grows up!"He sounded so cute at that part!

  • That's my favorite part!

  • aww. hes so cute. what an amazin voice!!

  • That was amazing! He's so talented. Is there anyway you could try to find the death scene? :D

Or the download for this? haha
