great teacher. but a teacher can only be great when the kids are from parent who really want them to learn. i can't play like this when i'm teaching kids from rich parent that send their kids over so parent can go somewhere or do something else undisturbed. these kids is spoiled with more gadgets than books and they can't wait to go back to their ipad. They do nothing in class, not even talking to other kids. what am i suppose to do???
how cute! Lovely. the best way to learn is to start as young as possible. when you get older your ears are only accostumed to a certain range of sounds. i wish my sons could learn this way at the school
do we want our kids to grow up crazy like when we can control their ways or embrace them and do it all over again is what the issue here is now is the time to step up and make your move before its to late to help them but their is always an arguement whatever the case i think there's to much of this low down talk for example how can we manage to make our kids learn if you prevent them from doing so in ways they may not understand of change because we wont allow ourselves to do it either
Anyone that can't recognize that these are Japanese NOT CHINESE students probably shouldn't be interested in TEFL. Just throwing that out there. It would be like Chinese watching a video with a chinese teacher teaching German students and then saying they wanted to teach kids in Spain because they look so cute.
I went to a city in China to give a talk. The next day, I wandered around the streets and met some little 8-year-old girls. They were dying to practice English (this was Changsha, not too many Caucasians). So they asked me if I was American and I said yes. Then I said "but I live in Hong Kong." Clearly this was NOT on the list of phrases that they knew. So I thought hard and say "Nice to meet you!!" They were thrilled and said "nice to meet you!" with great enthusiasm. Too adorable!
if it would be possible you could send me any material you discard for teaching english to children to my e mail :manuelricaldi@hotmail.com or any suggestion or whaterever you want,Ill be so happy
chinese kids are always so full of energy and enthusiastic! they are fast learners. i learntsomething new..by giving them a hint before asking a question actually gives them self confidence and they try to do it by themselves without help!! thank you

i was browsing kindergarten and ur video appeared first on the list.......say what would u recommend for kindergarteners to learn on their 1st day of English class?
@legallyasiangurl Things such as colors, number, fruits etc. are a good place to start off with kids.....some of the foundations and some things that they will be familiar with.
I´d like to see this very good professor teaching english in Mexico, where we have a less disciplinated culture than Japanese. OMG! it´s kinda crazyyyyyy
I love the idea, but I have 30 kids aged 3-6 in my class. I already know what it's going to be like tomorrow, no matter how much I plan :-) I just go with the flow - some are singing with me, some are doing their own thing... (and I have them for two hours at a time...!)
