A shame, but the reality is, if you're not making that "Top 10" mark then your chances of making good money are significantly reduced. So before people start knocking her for endorsing some product, check out the statistics of her singles on wikipedia. In this climate musicians struggle to make a proper living and i reckon there will be more uk artists doing this soon..endorsing products!

Musicians just don't make enough money to pay back their record companies anymore, and now record companies get shares of the artist ancillary rights almost every new artist has no choice but to look elsewhere for income. People know that the artists are singing for profit, they can't live off applause.
