@Dopeonplastic1 phones branded by orange and vodafone are pretty fucked up...they are using too many soft restrictions and visual effects and the cell phone is filled with useless shit... a good cellphone is that one with original software from factory!

@tobelala sure! there are 2 models of elm: J10i1 with front camera and the most common, J10i2 without front camera. You don't need to worry about because you can use the main camera for video call :D

@sunset785 dude, i just have no idea if you can find sony ericsson J10i1... i've heard that there are j10i1 terminals, but i've never had the pleasure of testing one... sadly, Sony Ericsson is DEAD. I will miss SE... i'm still using my Elm in parallel with my new LG Optimus One. Elm has a camera thousands of times better than Optimus One, so I'm still keeping it for this purpose :D

i've got the Elm few weeks ago from Germany and i'm very impressed! it's a cool cellphone! i'm loving it ;)) wifi works good, a-gps is ok...only when it's clear sky outside, the camera it's a big step forward(in my oppinion) because you can see a big difference between other models. 640x480@30fps is a nice job.

@bomygandhi you see, the battery life depends of what you actually do with the phone. for example i use to listen music almost 2hours every day, watching movies(even with subtitles :D but you need a .srt subtitle file), playing games(doodle jump is my favourite :> it uses the accelerometer) and surfing on web using wi-fi connection. a little advice: if you want to watch HQ videos from YouTube use Opera Mini instead of phone browser because opera has the option for HQ video and normal quality ;)

@ntt4rz i don't know how Hazel work's but i like Elm because it doesn't have mobile pieces! At cell phones made from two pieces(i'm talking about sliders, phones with lid and others) the probability of malfunction it's much higher! Talking about battery life, Elm it's quite good! I'm surfing almost every day on internet using Wi-Fi, listening music, watching movies(it has even subtitle option on player, supports .srt subtitle files) and i'm charging the phone once at 4-5days!

@h3xyournightmare yes, I agree with you. I also prefer the ELM as it's not a sliding type and much more easier, user friendlier compare to the Hazel. However, I really love the 5.0 MP camera. But the best part is the mobile phones are made of recycled materials. Keep it up, Sony Ericsson! (^.^)

I can confirm the Sony Ericsson Elm has wifi and that it works extremely well. I've had no problems with it and it's very quick and easy to use too. Regards!

i have a few questions and I hope someone can answer me .

1 ) i find the walk-mate eco thingy very disturbing . is it possible for me to ignore or somewhat off the ecomate walking thing ?

2 ) this might be the computer's problem but why does the lighting of the phone look so .. old school ? i mean , my sony erricson k530i has looks to have better lighting when u click the menu button or whatever . not to mention , more colourful .

can someone help ?

I went to buy one, but the sales person said that there is no way to connect the phone to the computer for music sync, and no software to convert CD's and sync with the phone. Is this true?

@mister8765 you just bluetooth the music across. use something like musicmatch to convert cd to mp3. no need to sync anymore

I like it, it's pretty bloody good.. glad I made the move from nokia now.

One thing I think it should have is the ability to install mobile sat nav. cos it has GPS ... what a waste.

all in all, really user friendly, sleek, nice camera with a few effect options, WIFI, BT. I recommend it m8.. great value phone for the price
