Because he's proportional. Many other characters had cartoonish fantasy body shapes that couldn't be produced via real-world costuming, so Burton decided to animate them while retaining some form of true human feature where he could... the man is personified genius :o)

Late reply perhaps, but if you plug in a headset or earphones, and just drop the right side, you can no longer hear the music. The person put it in, presumably to protect it from copyright issues. And he or she only put it on the right side. The left side is the raw original audio.

@azmilarash96 no. the cameras are what make the movie 3d, the greenscreen is how they are able to do the effects that they do, like the red queens big head, or how tall or small alice is. the greenscreen has nothin to do with 3d... shows how much you know bout how movies are made... there's been tons of movies that are shot with greenscreens that arent 3D. pick up a book and read up on how movies are made, cuz you have no idea what you are talking about.... sorry, but the truth hurts....

It can be. I was an extra in Little Nicky. Spent basically 48 hours filming the basketball scene...and that's a 15 minute scene at best. Lots of repetition in different ways. Silent, then speaking/screaming, silent again, this half shouts, that half is silent....lots and lots of miming so the actors could do their lines without interference from other sound. Fun, but boring too.
