does it depend on the breed whether it's safe for your dog to do this? i mentioned it to my vets (more than one, can be good for second opinion especially when you have a "rare" breed) and they said under absolutely no circumstance should you do it.

You'd have to get an exam & xrays. This dog has an OK from his vet. Also check out Faith the two-legged dog she walks on back legs all the time and vets said she would be fine. BTW- It takes sometimes about 2 years to even teach this trick to a dog.

I have had Dobermans all my life & had one live until 14 years old & ran with me every day for 3-5 miles while I was in college when I was training for martial arts tournaments. Not all Dobermans have hip problems and most have had it removed out of the breed last 10 years.

I taught my dog to sit with a treat on her nose and not get it until I say so. Sometimes she salivates and I know she wants it. But I love that dog more than anything.

too 3 dogs 10legs, i could be wrong but its my understanding that either a dog has hip displasia or they dont. that dog may have great hips i dont see walking up stairs will give the dog displasia i also didnt see any advertizement for biz... but i see know problem with showing off your work, i believe that dog enjoys performing for his owner i think when you properly work your dog excersise and stretch your dog there is anything wrong with it.. nice job. can i get ur cell #..u can train my dog
