It could be argued that Larry and Tina are among the top 5 best pairs teams ever to compete for the USA. They skated at a time when Artistic Roller Skating was being considered for Olympic candidacy. Accordingly, they represented the USA at many international events, symposiums, and competitions. Wherever they went, they presented themselves with great sportsmanship and grace, as potential Olympians would. They were true ambassadors for the sport.
Skating to Andrew and Julian Lloyd Webber's "Variations" (taken from "Variations on a Theme of Paganini" by Brahms) this was a 'breakout' program for Larry and Tina. Artistically, this set the tone for the rest of their career. Their programs in 1989, 1990 and 1991 were artistically superior to anything that had been seen since Chappata and Mejia. Technically they were the best team seen since Kneisley and Price. Whenever this team skated the entire arena just stopped and took it all in.
Tina and Larry both are on Facebook.

This program still gives me the chills. It is one of the five best pairs programs I've seen in my lifetime.
