  • It's always a good thing seeing people taking care of these old transistor-based dinosaurs.

Me too I'm restoring my CEI Prestige combo organ.

  • i have this organ as well, but the vibrato is way too slow.. i cant find the trimmer to adjust the vibratospeed.. can anyone please help me out? also the tuning is a bit unstable.. what can i do about that?

  • sorry for my ignorance, but why does that thing look so similar to a Vox Jaguar? is it just a rebranded version or something?

  • @dkgdbr - Sometimes popular organ models were made at more than one factory to keep up with demand. And often the various companies that made the organs were allowed to sell some of them under their own name.

  • My GEM Rodeo 49 has gone broken today

  • Do they have any audio output apart from the built in speaker?

  • @badboyrhythmdub - It doesn't have a build in speaker. There are two plugs on the back side, one for the "ordinary" organ sound and one for the bass. If nothing is inserted into the bass plug everything comes out of the other plug.

  • @organfairy OK thanks. Just needed to know as Im thinking of buying one. Cheers

  • Bravo !

  • There's a few on ebay now, sounds, (and looks), pretty close to a Vox Jaguar.

  • RESPECT!!!.....GREAT, GREAT,GREAT WORK!!!!, I HAVE A "MEAZZI DIFFERENT" ORGAN TO FIX...

  • @MrThomasBlanco Any Pictures? Or video?

  • Very well done. Congrats.

Have you ever put an organ such as this through a Leslie 2101? That thing can take normal audio jacks as input. I think it'd improve the sound greatly :)

  • Måla aluminiumskivan svart så syns den ännu mindre.

  • Very very clean job. Your username is well deserved my friend.

  • @mewrth - Thanks.

  • @organfairy I have a GEM Rodeo 49

  • Do you want to sell it??

  • Du skal da have kigget på den Gb bas

  • Cool, I used to have a fender keyboard of some kind. Don't remember what it was, but it had electronics that looked alot like that. Wish I still had it! It was broken so I gave it away is something dumb like that, but I think I might have the chops to fix one now.

Thanks for getting back to me.

    Chuk
