I guess, although I really haven't seen much difference between them and ITF or whatever. I think the main problem is just that the emphasis on kicks makes them seemingly defenseless to punches. Nevertheless the Koreans keep trying to compete with Sanda, Kyokushin and Muay Thai, and mostly fail.

No they will, but they probably won't help as much. Then again, no martial art can do much for you when threatened by multiple attackers.
Oh and you're better off knowing groundwork in a multiple attacker situation than not knowing it as you will most likely end up there anyways.

The MMA world disagrees. Although at least the Japs and Thais have proven themselves. The Chinese martial arts world is a sad, sad thing to behold, and watching Chinese martial artists actually trying to fight is even worse (Sanda fighters excluded). Koreans are pretty bad too.

David is more of a celebrity Martial Artist. there's no record of him competing nor winning any competition...not even forms. In this clip he does no sword play, just a few choreographed moves. Michael Jai is a true, authentic artist. This is another caswe of a celebrity looking good because of who he's on screen with. Uma Thuirman looks better at it than Carradine.
