Well, it depends what you mean with computer animation, since there various parts you can do with it. I studied character animation, but then there is also Visual effects for film, TV or games. If you love creating animations by computer then yes its good :)
@shinagamigolden hi thank you :) I didnt do my bachelor at kent. Did a Bsc at University of brighton in Product Design. Did lots of CAD there, so this got me to computer art and animation :) . University of Bournemouth got quite a lot of BAs.
Yes we did that animation in University of Kent. The course is "Msc 3d computer animation" and students from the course "Msc Visual effects" helped us.
I like the animating, but the particles could have as well left away. Maybe a bit more flexibility to characters would make it just as interesting as leaving the particles away... and I think the overall would look better. :)
We used Maya 8.5 modeling/rigging animating/lighting vfx and rendering.. We used After Effects 7 and Combustion for Compositing and Premiere for Editing..

hi we used Maya 8.5 for all the 3d and rendering and postproduction was done with Adobe After effects and Premiere as well as some Soundbooth.
