I love Spain, and am half Spanish, half American. It would be ridiculous to state there was never a mix between the moors and the Spanish, and the city of Cordoba itself is a beautiful testament to that. Cordoba was a great cosmopolitan city during the moor's time there. I'm proud Spain has housed so many different cultures over time, and I like to think we have benefited from all of them.
