Its totally worth the price on the 3ds gameboy virtual console haven't played it in a while but got very close to the end.

This was the first game I got on my gameboy in 1991 (other than tetris that came with it)

Was a fantastic game! I won it too, eventually. The music has a strange effect on me subconsciously I think! somethings going on there. :D

Loved this game as a child in 1991 and played it dozens of times afterwards. The graphics and animations (especially in the action sequences) are absolutely stunning for the old greyscale Gameboy.

i always thought nintendo should have made educational e-books for their GB back in the 90s

I remember writing to nintendo asking if they could do this, but they replied that it wasn't a profitable idea

Probably my favorite game for Game Boy, as well. I still say, to this day, the second level is one of the best action levels ever devised. You're seriously underpowered during it (only the first jump power up) and only two hearts to beat it in. The music there is incredible...plus, the level is very well designed.

Well I think that would have been really uninteresting to watch for most, since almost all the NPCs don't say anything really important about the game plot.

The random fights are boring enough, let's not push it too much I say :)

i did finish the game many many times but i was all the time thinking was there another ending

i tried many times picking the second choice when the boss says come with me ill give you this realm...

but i was not able to beat him with L1 firebrand
