Yeah,if the pirates had held out they would have gotten away with it.They just didn't know that French assault rifles only fire two rounds.When the trigger is pulled for a third time a white flag just pops out of the end of the barrel.

who cares is your son speaks French...let this be a lesson to those naive and liberal hippie minded persons that think the world is an awesome place wherein all humans share their euphoric and misguided assumptions as to how the world works. The captain of the boat was warned..both by the govt and the owners of the last French yacht that was captured and freed. Now his son will grow up without a father because of this man's arrogance and disbelief. Take heed...and let it be a lesson on Africa

My heart goes out to you. These pirates must be stopped which is one things we can all agree on. I hope they can find away to do that without any more innocent blood being shed. I am American. My oldest boy speaks fluent French.
