If you listen carefully, you will notice that he doesn't actually pronounce the 'r' in 'staring' and you can hear the 'out' and 'of' there. Plus, you can see the movements of his lips; he doesn't stretch them open to form the 'e' of 'emotion' but sort of forms that quick 'o' for 'of'. I've listened to his other live vids too. I'm not 100% sure since you can still hear it as 'staring at emotion'. 'Staying out of motion' makes a lot more sense to me, though.
