i heard about this. the guy that told me said he was with about 20 other guys and they were putting some young men out for their vision quest and they seen this coming down from where they put the young men. the young men seen it too and they said it was a spirit of some sort. i dont know ow many natives posted on here that know anyting about that way of life but thats what i heard.

psshh if it was a firework there would have been a fire ! but anyways like a night ago i was standing outside billy mills hall in pine ridge and seen the excact same lights going downwards torwards crazy horse ! it was scary then it just dissaperead as it looked like it hit one of those house but im sure it didnt scary shit though !

Yes, my sister just seen one coming back from rapid city on the look of the badlands and she said there were people pulled over watching it and they were screaming and kids crying because they thought something might happen! but she took off with her heart beating out of her chest!!!!! so believe what you see only the ones who see believes!!!

what time of year was this? there has been an increase in helicopter and small aircraft activity over the southern part of the rez in the past few years. Especially during fire season.

I've been trying to figure out how to tell this entire story on here, so here I go.

We were coming back from Rapid through RedShirtTable and I saw this same light by the CunyTable junction. It was on the ground and rose. It moved around so we stopped to watch it. It was so scary I called my mother and told her that if something happened, it was because of what we were seeing. I even reported it. My cousin said it was a rest area in the badlands until it moved around and had lights scanning.

The thing is, the nearest airports are sioux falls (not big), chadron nebraska (even smaller) and I've never seen a plane fly over the rez before.

thats a cop on top of the hill.... they got new lights on the patrol units last year... they are extra bright, being the ones before were basically white strobes and no one knew if it was a person behind them flashing the brights... But hey it if moved or if you had more footage, I may be convinced. But to me it looks exactly like the hills around Og, and a cop on top of one of them. Like I said the lights are extra bright now.

umm I don't think so you the hills that are around og are at least a mile back. and when you do see cars in them(hills)it's like a very faint light in the distance. Believe me I'm one of them country girls that used to live there. It's been a few years though.

I used to live here and there are a lot of strange things that occur here this ain't the first this was spotted and it sure won't be the last. You'll here things on the roof of your house and most elders and children are the ones to see most of the things that are unexplainable to us all.
