I am doing my own grocery and buying mostly fresh produce food. No more packaged or processed food for me. It actually is cheaper and healthier and create less waste :)
the majority of our produced food goes to the dumpster because its 'cheap'. We have lost a connection with our food. Many of us already grow lawns ,houseplants, flowers, and great landscapes. Why not use this space, energy ,time to grow our own food? Whats More Local than your Back Yard ?

Local food is the best food because you know where it has come from and how the animals were treated.

Great Idea, I have already started converting my yard into food.

I grew a small garden this year, just testing the waters to some degree, Tomato plants and Bell peppers, and Spring Onions.
It was a TON of work. But it did leave me with a great feeling of satisfaction.
Goddamn Tomato Horn Worms caused me a problem though! And rabbits as well...*Screens stopped the rabbits though* -_-
Interesting learning experience..
