As I type this one of these fucking birds is making this sound every two seconds just outside my window with a steadily increasing pitch and volume and I'm going to have to kill either it or myself.

I have been trying yo find out what makes this sound at the most ridiculous hours of the morning. Have been hearing this bird in Paynesville ( Gippsland Lakes) in Victoria. The locals are saying that it is not common to the area, hence our curiosity as to what bird it is. Now I know.

what a beautiful call. The calls of a koel and peacock are the most romantic sounds bird calls on this planet. Its a rare but a sweet treat.
