Could anybody who's into producing explain to me why you always hear alot of reverberation when vocals are stripped from an audio track. I have heard acapella versions by Whitney and Mariah, where somebody has stripped the vocals from the original track and you get the same effect. Why is that and why don't you hear that reverb when you hear the track in its original form (that is with both the vocals and instrumental background)?

@Chrizmooo Well its simple for the most part...its a Mixed vocal where they left the reverb and ne other plugin effect on the vocals ..but if you hear a song and you can hear the music in the background, usually they used a filter.

@sickaturi i think for her type of voice and song it is the right reverb for her but i think the problem is the amlified it too much so u cnt completly here the reverb complementing her voice
