google chrome is way faster and its Literally lightning fast search it on youtube they did a test to show its actually faster than lightning

@btvbrndn its only pre cached pages, speed actually depends on internet. I dont know about Chrome, but opera usus javascripts and special servers to compress files, therefore it will open faster than usual.

@FAKEBC No, in fact, the only way it renders pages faster is because of that compression. Opera has had Opera Mini for 5 years and never had any major complaints about passwords. I wouldn't worry about it.

Its really a great browser, but EVERYONE hates the zooming, so they dump it right away. Plus you've got Apple fanboys shunning anything that was not first kissed by Steve Jobs.

Bottom line - fix the zooming and change the UI, make it a little more native. Other than that, good first release.

@ConMahaff This is an alternative. Don't you think if they added pinch zooming, Apple would not allow it? Apple does not want competition. I think it's fine they way it is.

@LeathaFace17 pinch to zoom isn't against Apple's terms of agreement. They didn't block Opera Mini for duplicating a browser, so they wouldn't block it for duplicating pinch to zoom. And it is fine the way it is, but it has the opportunity to be great.

You need to update this app, at the moment I'm sticking with safari:

1. Add a keyboard with a spell check function cause at the moment it doesn't have one.

2. Add pinch and zoom

3. Fix the bugs

4. Add more zoom

5. Make text more visible while you are NOT zoomed in

6. Make it more responsive cause sometimes it doesn't respond with one tap on a link.

7. ADD VIDEO SUPPORT. When I am on some websites that have some YouTube videos embedded, I cannot see them or watch them!

@aminfahim123 go into the options and pick a larger font, their are many option, also go on the browser and type in opera:config for the whole list of options that arn't in the option menu.

@vinnytosain Even if you go to options and make the font larger, you STILL cannot see/read the text while it is NOT zoomed in. It's only bigger when you're zoomed in.

@aminfahim123 lol, why would you want to read something that is zoomed out, i never do. my home pc is on a 32 inch plasma, no zooming necesary. lol. its a phone deal with it.
