  • I am chubby myself, but I am not near healthrisks, I am fat, and I am on a very stable weight, I do not gain nor lose weigh (been the same size over 3 years.) my blood pressure is fine, I dont stuff my face with junk food, I dont sit on my ass alday, I walk atleast an halfhour to college everyday from the station, not immobile

And I love the way chubby/fat looks, I think it looks cute (call me wierd) Big is beautifull!

Just saying you dont have to be unhealthy when fat. same with skinny.

  • @Dekkaionna Very true! good point you make

  • While I agree that our culture should promote healthiness. I believe people come in different shapes and sizes. No one should be belittled because they are overweight. The should be given the same treatment. However, I do believe that at some point people need to be told the truth (make sure it is at the right time). I also think Tyra is hypocritical because she does not have fat people in her Top model show.

  • @Topg1 Thank you! That was my point really. People just have hard time with directness.

  • Oops typos hehe: little** input**

  • Look up: Bardet-Biedl syndrome and Prader-Willi syndrome, these are genetic examples. In most other cases it is caused by an internal struggle, as is bulimia or anorexia. I would think that someone who suffers from gender identity issues would have more compassion for those who suffer from other types of disorders. Telling obese people they must conform and not celebrate who they are is quite a contradiction on your end, especially when you are trying so hard not to conform to an identity.

  • stop.....

  • you are confused and you can tell in the way you speak. I think if you are comfortable in your own skin thats all that should matter, even skinny people arent "healthy" and thats averaged sized people. healthy and happy thats what is important. and to call people fat even in a joking way is ignorant and not accepting that is even worse to me. jus because you arent there to see a person cry doesnt mean it doesnt happen.

  • I agree with ....him?? anyways, i agree. I couldn't have said it better. I just think people need to realize their own flaws. Dont wait for other people to point it out for you. YOU see you before everybody else does.

  • hating southerners is the last frontier of discrimination

  • Faggot

  • any type of discrimination is bad. I mean like my brother he has acne horribly and he puts meds on it and goes to dermatologists yet noting helps and people don't care about that, they just see the acne well that kinda applies to me I eat healthy actually I eat a strict diabetic diet and work out 5 days a week just I'm gaining wait due to a health problem the doctors cant seem to pinpoint but no ones see that..they just see the weight and judge call me disgusting and I'm not even that big

  • @stonecarver771 You have been lied to. Sleep apnea can make one more prone to gain weight, but it doesn't "cause" obesity. Sleep apnea didn't cause you to become 380 pounds. They were just trying to sell you sleep studies and CPAP devices.

Having poor impulse control around food caused you to gain that much weight.

  • @TheGoalSetter It's not always about impulse control. Someone could eat only 500 calories a day and still gain weight... this is because their energy output is not matching their calorie intake. In these cases, some people may in fact be lazy and others may suffer from something such as a thyroid condition which causes hypotonia, depression, joint pain, and low energy levels, which all will affect a persons ability to do any activity or affect interest in activities.

  • So what would you suggest instead of all that celebration of fatness(which I don't agree to either)?

  • Where is it celebrated ? lol

  • @Krasnodarka I think there is a low number of people actually celebrating their high weight. I doubt most obese people are like "yay I gained another ten pounds". I think there is more of an acceptance of being bigger and being comfortable with not being a size 4 but being a size 14. I don't see obese parades, but if there were I wouldn't blame them. They just wanted to get treated like everyone else. Why shouldn't they? Obese people are just as human as you and I...

  • ..Im a "fat" person but I have to endurance to run miles without stopping and being extremely out of breath. I eat well & my doctor tells me Im healthy...there is also the issue of past lifestyles & such. Its ok to tell your overweight friend not to eat Mcdonalds just like it is to tell anybody just because its not good for you but its wrong to tell a bigger person they are disgusting because their big...its hard to try to change oneself when evrybdy tells you how much they hate who you are

  • you're in denial if you're putting fat in quote marks

  • @samisayshi By putting the word fat in quotation marks does not portray denial, my reason for putting it in quotations was to put emphasis on the dynamic of the conversation. And just out of curiousity how does that show denial??

  • @samisayshi Maybe the quotes are there because fat is so hard to define today. Some people think size 6 is fat, while others think size 14 is fat, while others think size 24 is fat... maybe she considers herself festively plump while others consider her "fat"....

  • I think the problem is that people dont understand the meaning of the "celebration" or "congratulations" of being overweight...Its not a support system to stay big and get bigger, Its suppose to be a confidence booster so that an individual could feel better about who they are. Because once someone is comfortable about who they are they have a better chance of bettering themselves. Being overweight doesnt always mean your unhealthy.

  • you're so right!

  • Lmao, so funny with the acne. & I agree with you!

  • You're completely right about everything in thie video. But, bitch, you need to eat a cheeseburger, k? Love your skinny ass <3

  • I missed that episode and from ever since ive been trying to watch it. Do you know anywhere i can see it?

  • i wonder if hes gay...hmmm

  • And thats all you got from the video....

  • lol

  • Well yeah hunny, your video blog was not the most insightful or appealing thing on the planet. .. Take that to thought.

  • lmao!

  • @bigdud12345 who cares?

  • ooh hes not hes its just tyra on her webcam, ..3 people seem to agree wit me

  • @bigdud12345 get a life

  • ...Graduating high school doesn't make you educated, for the record. He was using an example (aka Analogy) and if you don't know what that is (which you CLEARLY don't) maaaaaaaaaybe you should go back to school. I'm just saying. ♥

  • right. If you really need to know, i already graduated. But i'm sure you didn't when you were my age, by the looks of it....

  • uhmm okay wtf. Are you seriously saying people with acne have acne because they don't use clearisil? are you fucked? I'm 18 and i've struggled with acne since i was 11. AND I HAVE TRIED USING EVERY GODDAMN PRODUCT YOU CAN THINK OF. So don't sit there and try and say people with acne don't use anything to clear it. And i'm not overweight, but i do know that a good portion of people that are overweight have a genetic problem. So get educated before you speak, because you sound very ignorant...

  • When you graduate high school, be sure to understand the word Analogy.

  • You pizza face bitch, you didnt even LOOK at the video did you...

  • @Astrodisiac pizza face bitch... you are hypocrytical of what you jus said because that doesnt sound like a joke to me. i think its better for ppl to embrace what makes them different rather than hiding from it or ignoring it, and its ppl like you that make this harder. im not perfect, youre not perfect, no one is... and with your body language and words in this video you were unsure of what you were saying because liek you said you didnt know what to agree with... think before you speak

  • @gemini0815

I don't think this was an attack on anybody with acne. The best thing would have been to watch the video again. He was trying to emphasize the difference in the way society treats things.Fat and Acne are both clear indications of an imbalance of the body (i struggle with acne too). We use products to help clear acne regularly and its not celebrated, but being overweight is even more of an indication of imbalance but we celebrate it instead.

  • Hello Darling, it's Nikki (Yes, the Nikki...aka the Bitch from the Tyra show). I would LOVE to talk to you about the show, the topic, and the things that were said. Please message me. Also, loved the video. It has been rated. ♥

  • @DARLINGNIKKITV I heard the Tyra Show is very scripted is that true.

  • Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Essentially he's saying if you're overweight, don't celebrate it and do nothing, you gotta accept yourself and work on improving your health. AJ you're gonna be a youtube celeb, I can see it now! haha

  • Umm..everything you said in this video was offensive.. How can you say that it is wrong to be "fat" being overweight is an illness.. People do not become fat because they want too or even because they enjoy it... Like you said there is an imbalance within them... Food becomes an addiction to some people just like any drug.. You cannot judge people because they are overweight..&& you being sooo skinny and never having a problem with weight gives you no right to talk about someone else's problem

  • yes I totally get what u think yes being obese is an illness u r addictive to food such are the drug addicts are. It's not ok to be a drug addicts as much as its not ok to be obese u got to do something to get better. That's y I too think that u shouldn't say " I'm obese and proud !"

  • That's very true but no one says Im obese and im proud.. hehe they say Im big and beautiful... because you have to love yourself regardless of your flaws.. && to lose the weight is not as easy as people make it seem...especially if the person has a thyroid problem.. <<--Look it up before you judge someone who is overweight because this has nothing to do with how much you do or don't eat..So someone can be overweight without eating "too" much.People should research before puttin in their opinion

  • @toyatoy1986 Most people are not saying I'm proud to be obese, most people are struggling with the fact they are obese. In our day people are disgusted by obesity because they are taught to see bigger people as ugly... not because they are concerned for someone's health. So the people you think are screaming, "I'm proud to be fat" are really saying " I know I'm fat but I'm still beautiful". It's all a beauty issue... there are very few people who are really concerned about the health issues.

  • lol.....yeaaaaahhhyy

  • "I like to crack jokes at anyone's expense" haha Oh, AJ, your somethin else
