If you're not sure on your measurement, you're breaking the law and putting the customer at danger. If in doubt... Jigger. It doesn't look as professional as free pouring (which should be done vertically) but at least the customer will be buying what they asked for.

@bmoney1590 Not wrong. Yeah, a shot is 1 1/2 oz, but jigger sizes ARE 3/4 oz and 1 oz as that way you can make almost any amount size needed for mixed drinks.

I dont know why she only holds the booze bottle half way, that makes it inaccurate during your count... It should be vertical, because then you always have close to the same angle of the bottle. If you pour it at an approximately 45 degree, you wont have a same pour everytime. With a 90, atleast you'll have closer results everytime.

speed/free pouring takes a lot of practice. this video is slightly miss leading as for consistency the bottle should be held completely vertical as liquid travels slower out of a pourer the lower the angle.

I don't know if you guys have a weights n measures department Stateside, but if the UK weights n meqasures department guys saw an ENGLISH bartender pouring like that they'd have fourty fits, and if ONE customer said that he didn't get a full shot, the bartender would be out of a job so fast his head would still be spinning when he hit the pavement

speed pouring is for bartenders. I like the easy and exact way: Jiggers. Why I have to make things so complicated?

when you pouring you have to say ( bubble two three four five ) thats has to sound like a siren, beat of a siren and this has to be 3.75cl cc.4cl(1.25oz) water :) if you count to three its 2cl. Hold the glass upside down between a pouring time. Lot of practice 10/10 exact work.

I've been screwed out of Alcohol

because dumb bartenders think they can do the fast poor technique, but they can't. I have boght 3 shots in one glass many times and they only poor 1.5 shots because they just guess. >:(
