@MrSpanky87 My Mum swam across the Grand Harbour in '63 to impress my Scottish Dad. She was only 15. More guts than I'll ever have. They got married here in Scotland. Where you from in Malta /Ghawdex?

Einfach unvergleichlich...2002 war ich dort und hab mir vorgenommen sobald wie möglich nochmal hin zu gehen, eine der besten Natursehenswürdigkeiten weltweit, meiner meinung nach. Eine Reise wert ist das auf jeden fall besonders wenn man Ruhe und erholunf sucht...muss man vielmehr nach -gozo fahren,zwar der schwesterinsel von malta, aber in Wirklichkeit hebt sich spürbar in Punkto Gemütlichkeit, Unberührter Landschaft und Ruhe von Malta heraus.

yes you are right a part of troy was filmed here the parts are:

1: the entrance to sparta when the cliffs outside sparta are seen that was shot in dwejra.

2. the part where achilles and his cousin are training that was shot somewhere in malta.

3. the part where achilles goes to talk to his god mother. that was shot in Comino where a place called blue lagoon

4. finally the city of troy was built in a studio in malta.

I know. I really like The Count of monte Cristo. Did you also notice the Castle(prison) in the movie? It's on the island of Comino.

Yep,I am maltese myself so i recognize the places. For example vittoriosa (maltese city) in the film is Marseille.
