Love it......but. I would love for public psychology to be as holistic as reality actually is. It happens all at once, most or all factors included directly or indirectly. This orientation is generally a human potential endeavor using Cognitive/Behaviorist methods, some social consideration, the lightest nod to biological factors and psychodynamics, and none to existential factors. Seems like an old vid, but still, I wish we could actual have some kind of big picture to hold things together.

Overcoming the subconscious mind is difficult. Self loathing and self sabotage are damn near inexorable.

@bradq - They certainly are, especially, if that mind is embedded with incorrigible belief systems that holds the mind back...
