  • The whole speed limiting crap does suck, but I understand the reasoning behind it. However, getting a bike unrestricted isn't all that challenging... for those who really want to reach the 200+ mark. ... I just can't stand the idiots who slap a PC on their bike with an exhaust and say they run 200mph all day... on a 600cc -_- ... you guys know who you are haha

  • not in Canada!! turn up the throttle!

  • This speed limiting is such fucking bullshit! Back in the late ninties you could put 210mph on the speedo of your Hayabuso. Now 12 years later with another 30 horespower we are stuck going probably 6 or 7 mph slower than we were back in the day!

  • get ya fuckin hair cut ya 70's throwback

  • Booo, I was expecting at least a little knee down action

  • outside 10 degrees lol, as opposed to inside?

  • @thespib I guess in a hot environment (30-40c+) the outside may get confused with the engine oil temperature during warm up. Although I would expect anyone owning this bike to know the difference :)

  • Hayabusa is still the best ... simple!!!!

  • Just put a turbo in it..

  • It bet it will do 400 kph with a sidecar and a K&N air filter.

  • All of that trouble and no mention of GPS?

  • They basically changed the gearing so that it hits top speed in 6th unlike the older model and the Busa which hit top speed in 5th. Basically if you buy yourself a $25.00 TRE box you can bypass the restrictions in place and probably get close to 200 mph stock, given the correct gearing.

  • is this the place where top gear went in last weekends episode and they were shitting themeselfs going the same speed in car? haha

  • I think 300 clicks (186 mile an hour) is enough on a bike, but what is it rated to go when the limiter is removed? bout 198 isnt it?

  • The 883 is definitely a man's bike. You would need prehensile testicles to hang on at that speed. I rode an 883 once, it scared me shotless. My old FJ1200 is a pussy by comparison!

  • @nlo114 Yes a mans bike, 0-60 in 6 seconds and 104 top speed...

  • 195 mph on a 883? You harley guys get dumber all the time.

  • Love the zx-14

  • That's bullshit! I put mini-gun exhausts on my Sportster 883 and got 195mph! I don't know why anyone would buy this KawaShiti over a well engineered All-American motorcycle. Real bikers ride Harleys!

  • @ewganhoff no video = hoax

  • @ewganhoff u asshole. u never ridden a R6

  • @ewganhoff All american LMFAO the engine is made in Japan Check your block. and 195mph again LMFAO.... 883 is a girl Harley...ha!

  • @ewganhoff LOL

  • @ewganhoff Lol bullshit, you would be lucky to top 120 with a tail wind going down a hill.

  • @ewganhoff You're a fucking retard. I will bet my entire house you havent hit 195 mph on that 883. MAYBE you're such a dumbass you got mph confused with kph.

  • how much is that in miles??

  • There's different between Haya n Kawasaki , both bikes are v v good n also burn your pocket to own it's . If you want fast it's your own choice but Kawasaki proof fastest than Haya in production bike 2012

  • needs a turbo...

  • on dirait jacouille dans les visiteur mdr

  • Gentleman's agreement shoulda' gone bye-bye when the S1000RR hit 192 mph. Why buy a bike then pipe it, filter it, TRE it and tune it to surpass 186 when you can just go grab a Bimmer? Sometimes you gotta challenge the rules. Wake up Japan.

  • hayabusas faster

  • Velocidade máxima 296 km

  • That's the kind of job I could handle : - go to bed early, go to circuit - 300+ km/h round Nardo Ring. - do video report - then bunga bunga

  • guys guys, remove the speed limiter and repost.....

  • The camera guy was on a BMW

  • At that speed your going faster than most prop driven airplanes.

  • ele bem que podia arruma esses dentes tortos.....

  • For the tools talking about busas.. Ricky Gadson did a dyno comparison with a brand new, stock 14 with 4 miles on it; against a 2011 busa with ~4,000 miles on it. The 14 kicked out about 26 MORE whp that the busa. Aaanndddd the 14 spanked the shit out of it in the quarter mile. Boom. Cry busa babies, crrrryyyy!!!!!

  • 186mph huh? So its just as fast as most new 1000cc and busas. Hardly the fastest now is it? Now if they said the "quickest" then i would believe it because it is........

  • I could beat that jap crap on my harley sportster 1200

  • @socalpimp1974 I don't know Harley that well, but I doubt it, seeing that this Kawi is made to be a Sports bike, while the Harley is just a sportier Cruiser, and even with lower cc's

  • @socalpimp1974 LOL.... please upload a video that would be quite the sight.

  • Sounds like it could sit on that speed all day long, impressive!

  • Hate to say it, but its got sod all on a busa :D you want to test its the fastest??? Drag race against a busa :D

  • @tehnodor the bike in front is another zzr 1400. They had over 8 zzr 1400 testin on the same day

  • so what was that bike in front of it? a busa? ehhehehe

  • *A beaver randomly walks across the track*

  • Mcn rules! Love you guys! You have my dream job!

  • The zzr14 smokes the busa! 191 hp outta the box!

  • it was 320 kph ? wow enough faster then hayabusa right?

  • hmm wonder how the BMW S1000RR would keep up?

  • Sorry to burst any bubbles but if you are just using the speedo for the speed they are all out, most by about 10% ish. Eg my 675 on the clock showed 273kph but through a speed trap I was only really doing 246kph. Still great Vid tho always like seeing bikes go fast.

  • dat ass

  • That was sitting at 10500 rpm there's still a 2500 to go I think the old 14 stock standard would Easley hit 320!!!!! Without the limiter

  • Wow, it looks so damn fast, and it is. Takes stones to ride that fast- kudos guys!

  • A LI'L BI' OF THRO'OL :)

  • So what

  • impression please!!

  • would of been nice to see the bike being quick of the line in the vid! Suppose i'll just have to take your word for it.

  • I want one....

  • *a duck randomly walks across the track*

  • The 186mph is a gentleman's agreement between manufacturers. If they sell bikes that do over 200mph they'll be legislated against and the legislations isnt going to let you do 186 of course. So it makes sound sense.

  • @TheAegisClaw Why do fast cars not have limiters?

  • @marioldm They do!

  • @marioldm Because cars capable of over 186mph are out of reach of the average person due to price. Price regulates them. Bikes are, bang for buck, the fastest thing available.

  • @TheAegisClaw Agreed, you'll endup spending what about $350k on a stock supercar, then dont forget about all those expensive parts, maintenance, insurance, and all the gas the chug. Dont get me wrong i absolutely love cars but bikes are just faster. $25k gives you a superb bike and top of the line gear and money leftover for pizza and beer after a long ride

  • @marioldm Plenty do. A lot of German cars, BMW, Mercedes for example, have a voluntary limiter fitted by the factories. They set them at about 155mph.

The Chrysler Crossfire (which was build in Germany) also had a limiter at 155mph. Without the limiter the Crossfire is supposed to have another 20mph available.

  • @TheAegisClaw

Why it is bikes get limiters but cars like the Bugatti Veyron are able to hit 270mph?

Okay so almost no-one can afford the Veyron but i see Porsche 911's every day.

  • @IAlternateMyCapitals And a 911 Carrera does 180, a Carrera S does 190. 911 Turbos are a much rarer car. Still, the cost of any new 911 puts it beyond the reach of the average income earner in any country in the world (excepting tax havens like Monaco, Lichtenstein etc).

  • @TheAegisClaw the 186mph agreement your talking about was agreed only between the japanese manufacturers.it doesn't apply to bmw bikes because a standard s1000 tops 191mph and a quick call to bmw confirms that there are no speed restrictions on an s1000

  • @crossplane Correct, but they could quite easily have made the S1000 do over 200, my year 2000 ZX12R does mid 190's, last year of the unrestricted Japanese bikes. BMW have realised 200+ could be a negative.

  • @TheAegisClaw that and speed rated tires only go to 186mph continuous.

  • Time and space was bending around that bike

  • really pissed me off that it didn't show the acceleration

  • It looked to me like the bike was redlining in top gear anyway.

  • How does it corner?

  • What kind of Tires are you running on the ZZR1400?

  • God this bike is disgusting....

  • whats the point of having a limiter at 186..... sure as hell cant be for safety reasons

  • 0,55 CHCHCHCCH BUUUUU CHCHCHCHC BUUUUUU CHCHCHCHCHCHCH CHŁCHŁ BUUUUUU.((x

  • 0,20 No i Jedziemy . >>>>>

  • 0,10 Jedziemy .

  • sometimes i wish top gear would test motorcycles too.

  • this claim should be put to the test, how hard is it to get a 2000 busa and do a test side by side, acceleration and top speed?

  • Was that a Singer sewing machine? ... sounded great

  • Imagine putting it down to 1st gear at that speed...

  • Any faster and you'll break out of the Matrix...

  • @TheThugMonkeys SOMEONE MAKE THIS TOP COMMENT LOOOL

  • Any faster and you'll break out of the Matrix...

  • would like to see his face when i pass him with my bandit 600n ;)

  • is the 1400 shaft drive?

  • @kaiser9100 no chain.

  • @kaiser9100 No it's Sealed chain, what they mean by "sealed" ?

  • And even a k1300s will kill it on the twisties

  • I still think the s1krr kills it in acceleration

  • Like a cruise missle... I wonder what mpg's it gets at that speed...

  • @ZZRgirl11 Adam Child (the rider in the vid) reckons it's about 12mpg.

  • @motorcyclenewsdotcom which is quite awesome considering cars like the Lamborghini line gets an average of 12mpg in the city driving efficiently.

  • @motorcyclenewsdotcom Who's chad? lol.

  • Iv got a bussa and for some reason, the charecter of the busa forces my soul not to sell. Suzi... im keeping you as my number one lol

  • i MAY of found a replacment for my busa BUT that back end....too much like the old zzr600 (i know thats its lineage) but it looks gorgeous up until the rear end that frot end is as menacing as you like and i love the idea of the thing but if im going to shell out 11k it would have to be litterally perfect the seat cowl does help though well done kawi its an amazing bike but it does make me excited to see what the hayabusa will answer with (if at all)

  • thats a long time to be sustained at 186 mph. I used to do 186 mph runs on US 63 from Terre Haute to Lafayette, IN on my ZX12-R.

  • Buckle up bitches, but what's with the butt cam?

  • Get a haircut.

  • mv agusta has the fastest bike in the world because it has the only production bike that can go over 300kph/186mph and isnt speed limited.. it tops out around 310-312. one day they'll hopefully remove the limiter n start the fastest bike in the world race again :)

  • @camrlace

I thought the fastest was the Y2K. Or doesn't it count?

  • @dazzelya y2k is not a mass production bike and I think you can only order it in the US.

  • @curvejaeger

Neither is a MV-Augusta F4CC but it would still be up for the running right? Not sure about outside US orders other than someone from the UAE that has one, but I'm sure that if you are rich enough, you could get in anywhere in the world.

  • @dazzelya Dude, Im not going to comment on the y2k cuz im really not interested on it. There is so little information about this bike on net, not even speed video. Never seen one and no magazine comments on it so I dont give fuck. I guess it is a hand made bike and the MV Augustas are productions bikes. Of course there will be one model or another that are special and you won't see them much (also ducati does that) but then is not a production bike either.

  • @dazzelya nah dont count yer its fast n sounds mad 2

  • Hold the fuck on that's all I say.

  • @ClownViolenceBoogie How the hell do the tyres hold together at that speed.

  • its nothing about topspeed. srsly when do you hit 313 km/h on normal streets? its all about corner speed

  • @OdrikT800 Every time my friend goes out he aims for 300. Bit sad my bike doesn't go that fast haha. :P

  • @OdrikT800 There's plenty of places to do it where I'm from.

  • Why is it limited?

  • This bike is more about Torque/Acceleration, not top speed!

  • i love flat outs

  • Remove limiter + smaller rear sprocket. The bike still seems to have more to give.

  • @ftpaddict install jet engine :)

  • @2wheelsteve We already have the Y2K for that.

  • 300km/h ? Suzuki GSX1000 can do this. Remove the limiter and put turbo on!

  • @ZephyrWestWind Moot point. A moped will do 300 km/h if you remove the limiter, fix the engine, put on a couple of turbos and hold on like hell. The claim is top speed out of the box, i.e. without mods. It's a somewhat shallow claim without a true speed measurement via GPS though.

  • @Lessdeth14 Hey, you fancy recording yourself doing 300km/h on a moped? Upload it to youtube and I'll give you a like. Good luck

  • @ZephyrWestWind

Sure it can, but it won't do it in the same amount of time. Torque = fun!

  • WHY HAVE A LIMITER!! :(

  • @carpo94 Stock/factory bikes all are limited/ have limiters lol dork

  • @Ana1Hai1 : Actually they DON'T.... The BMW S1000Rr does not have a limiter, vor does the MV Augusta.. The 186 mph/300kph limit is a Gentleman's agreement between the Japanese manufacturers.

  • @The80shilling Wait Gentleman's agreement , yeah you are correct. My bad.

  • @carpo94 legal requirement

  • @carpo94 cause it's not sure the parts will survive a long time at full throttle

  • @mouloudo good point

  • thumbs up if you love hayabusa....

  • 3D????? Dayyum!

  • I have no idea why this is so impressive. This was some of the most boring testing I have ever done in my career. Feel like 120mph with more wind..=/

  • Remove the limiter? XP

  • why no gps measure :(

  • You can see why they say its the fastest production bike on the planet. Impressive!

  • @davemate003 Impressive to 11 year-olds and guys who still live in the 1980's... sure. I am a Kawasaki fan, but I've come to realize that the guys who buy bikes that go after the 'fastest' title ain't the type of rider anyone I know of would hang out, or ride, with.

  • balls of steel

  • This is fast!
