What a treat this must have been! Not as good as the version they did in New Zealand (which sounds perfect on You Tube), but still, it is a pearl. I'm so jealous it was not on the setlist in Europe. But what can you do? They just have too many great songs to pick from. It's a curse;)

Just returned to my hometown from the show last nightin Chicago. You are right. This version was not perfect but that is what made it so special last night. Out of nowhere they bust out this song and stun the fans. It was truly a special moment.

I was there last night, and it was amazing during Pride..Bono was shocked that the crowd kept singing oh-oh-uh-uh chant after the song was done, and they only did the song on a whim, Bono brought up "One Tree Hill" before "Moment of Surrender" but they were not going to sing it, but the crowd convinced him to try...Hence why Bono said if they messed up not to put on youtube......obviously it was amazing hence why there is atleast 3 posts of it already

Rough, unrehearsed with Edge all over the map but plenty of heart in that performance. And Bono's voice is in really top shape considering it's the last song of the show. Top notch.
