Has anyone solved this? Or is it definitely a hardware problem? My friend is having the same issue, he's had the phone for almost a year and it's only started happening recently. It also frequently reboots if he keeps trying to get onto a WiFi network.
i turned off the mobile network with the wifi on, then turned the mobile network back on and wifi stayed connected. idk if it's a permanent fix just yet.
@gregts112388 i took it back and they reloaded ALL the software which didnt fix anything; just a waste of time..
they replaced my brand new phone with a refurbished phone that had recently undergone some sort of software patch and it wouldnt update itself, after I immediately exchanged that one for another phone, I soon found out that the replacement phone was also refurbished and still had water damage from being dropped in someones food and they refused to give me a new phone.
It's hardware, they reloaded my software and that didn't even fix it.

Root it, go custom rom, CM7.1 or MIUI. Stock OSes are gay. Assuming it's not a hardware fault of course.
