No, everything changes when your married... and i mean EVERYTHING. you can be the coolest, most non-chalant, go with the flow type a girlfriend or boyfriend but as soon as the honeymoon is over, you have a new set of expectations that one or both of you arent ready to meet and that ends in clingy-ness, needy-ness, fights and disappointment.... Why do you think over 80% of married couples get divorced within the 7 yrs? Because everything changes and they dont know how to deal with it.

My husband and I lived together prior to marriage. We have a joint bank account and credit card. I think questions like this are silly because EVERY couple is different. For some couples what I just said doesn't work and for some it does. We had a small ceremony with two people present that we loved. It was planned the day before, no new clothes were bought or anything. We are making the MARRIAGE special, not the wedding. So many people would do well to learn that lesson.
