I am a 13 years convert to the LDS Church. I still clearly remember my first General Conference, there stood up this wonderful, gentle, kind, loving, Christ like man, with a wonderful message for the young single adult. One of the message was to get the highest education, that message penetrate my body and soul. 8 years later i am still studying...lol...one of his many message that change my life completely...ty President Gordon B. Hinkley for the wonderful work that you have done..I LOVE U

I know that the LDS Church is Gods true and living Church. I know that Gordon B. Hinckley was a true prophet of God. I know that Thomas S. Monson is God's prophet today, and I know that Joseph Smith, our founder, really saw God the Father and his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. My religion makes me happy - you should try it :-)

I was sitting in a youth fireside when i heard about his passing. At first i thought it was a joke, but when i looked up

and i looked at my aunty i then new

that he was truely gone. I was just in tears

and let me tell you the youth fireside was in tears no joke.

He had done so much for the church that i can't even tell you how much we miss you :( But your back at home and to your wife. We love and you and thank you for all your great work

I live in NJ and his death was mentioned in passing. So sad! This man had more influence, did more good, gave his life to his Church and to Jesus.I'm not LDS but I DEEPLY miss him.I loved his wit, his genuineness, his down-to-earth qualities. when he died, i started to cry for a second. but i couldnt, i feelt warmth. i was happy for him. he talked about how much he missed his wife. but watching these videos i start to cry. i love to watch reporters talk with him. and how he made them laugh. and how he was so kind. he never had to pretend to be happy. i will miss him. but im happy that he is with his wife once more. Our entire family loved him and our boys would tell their friends that he was a friend of theirs. In conference and in the Children's Friend He's told the kids that he loves them and prays for them, what a fantastic man.

I love Gorden b. Hinkley he blessed my father after he was severely burnt, and my father made a full recovery, Now I dont know if it was because he was blessed or not, but my father does and I trust him, He was truly a Prophet of GOD because I prayed about it and recieved an answer, I love him, not because I know him, but for his marvolous works!

I work with many of the Church's senior leaders at Church HQ, and all of them are, without exception, truly the most Christlike men I've ever known.
