I agree, that is definitely the quality topsoil folks pay for. This clearly wasn't the tractor operator's first rodeo, he has real front loader skills. Obviously a ranch tractor, just from the auger attachment on the back. Makes quick work of digging fence lines. Just thinking about the two-handled "clamshell" posthole diggers makes my hands hurt! Everything he does with the tractor is fascinating, and I tend to stop what I'm doing and just watch, in the summer he mows things with a diff attachment, making crop circles and I just love it. Thanks.
It should be, been flooded a couple times. Seasonal creek just behind the bushes, but they built berms all around after the last flood. There are lots of clay deposits here, but that does look like nice top soil.
