The one small downside to this 'experimental' approach to arrangement is that it might limit the audience a little and make it more 'specialised'. This is fair enough if that's what the producers want. HOWEVER in my humble opinion the calibre of this vocalist Kari Rueslatten is such that she is at the very pinacle of her profession - yes WORLD class. She doesn't just have the X factor - she has the Z factor as well. And she deserves - no MUST reach a wider (WORLD) audience.

I love the opening of this song up to 0.54 with the acoustic. Im not madly taken with wow wow guitar from 0.54, 1.56 and 2.42 with Karis voice but Im getting more used to it. At 1.28 Kari does her 'Kylie' impersonation. Actually I quite like that. This woman is so amazing she can sound better than the original. Im still struggling with the 'sonar' effects at 2.26. Love the hook line (Like a lover) at 1.06, 2.06 & 2.56. And the lyrics are great. It is 'experimental'. And it's good to experiment.

@jezkn O_o I came across form the drum and bass tunes she's on, couldn't you just listen to it? I'd hate to listen to music and feel the need to critique it. Not saying you shouldn't do that, but your detailed log was a bit OTT. Are you the guy for the clown factor? :P

@GrayMedellia Hilarious!! -its probably for the best as It enables us to start again with a 'clean slate' and for me to have a fresh listen (which Im doing even as I write this) -so I'l post a new comment (hopefully more flattering!). I love the idea of your comment being published a thousand times -presumably if it had carried on the whole of YouTube would have crashed and the watching world would have been agog!! Fantastic stuff - did you know you had this amazing Power over the rest of?

@jezkn I'm sorry if I sounded rude, for a moment I thought maybe you could be one of those unbearable trolls (as you said is a typical situation on Youtube, sadly). If it's your sincere opinion there's no need for you to withdraw anything. It's true that sometimes there are weird arrangements and Kari's voice sounds also weird in the middle of that (e.g. Pilot) but River is a really nice song imho. Besides that the lyrics of all songs are lovely, and add something nice to the weirdness :P

@GrayMedellia U make it sound as if I've covered YouTube with graphiti! Its true that I have commented on about 12 Kari videos. But half of those were extremely positive. Its just that some of these songs I dont think do justice to the divine Kari and I've tried to explain why. Of course it's just an opinion. And maybe some comments are unfair as i am extremely grateful to you for uploading cos I just love to hear Kari-even if I dont like the song. Would you like me to withdraw some of them?
