Wrong ecosystem, wrong food source. The only thing they could hunt would be penguins. It's remotely possible.... I really doubt it though.

So, will this thing become more aggressive as it gets older because of his bear instinct thingies, or will it continue to be calm/tamed because it has no need for those instinct thingies? If he stays cute and cuddly, imagine when he's full grown and you can give a 7-foot-tall, 1,300-pound bear a true "bear hug" without getting eaten. That would be so cool!
