thanks, I so connected with this and the music was great, especially the last one. As Prophet Jesus said, the stones (rocks) will cry out -and they are crying out. Amazing how Spirit transcends the exterior biology and activates the DNA of us all. That Spirit is always LOVE.
we are resisting Eurocentricism, but that doesn't mean someone can put up something about another tribe's ethnic cultural heritage and label it as something "they" feel they are a part of. the last 2000 years of Khmer history is not something you can just make up. There are real people and culture who have constructed the empire. Although, "we" as people of color branched out from Ethiop- don't get it twisted- if you're not Khmer, you have no cultural imperative to understand Khmer culture
@ PunchOjr; - Mer married Kambuja and gave birth to the Khmer Ethnicit/people/society, etc. I agree that all people of color branched out from Ethiop diaspora, but that does not negate the fact that their still lies very distinct tribes. So, in a sense, if you were to debate this quasi information even through radical historians- this shit doesn't make any sense. Khmer tribes built Angkor Wat & it has nothing to do with christianity- so why put up a christian music in correlation?
@PunchOjr: i'm not implying that soon as they cross over Ethiop that it became other races. But what I want to put out there is that, Ethiop was tribal based societies before it became nation states after the westernization/imperialism impact on the global stratosphere. Khmer does not mean anything like Kemet. And best believe, I am a Moor just like anybody who is colored. Khmer is a hybridization of Prince Kambuja and Princess Mer. Kambuja defeated Mer
If you are using Khmer pictorials, heritage sites and so forth, please at least add some culturally relevant materials that would be culturally competent to this component. This shit doesn't make sense to me. I'm Khmer, and I know there is a connection with Moors and all colored people who inhabit planet earth, but this right here--- is cultural co-optation without much sense as to the people/civilization that these heritages sites were created from. Hallelujah???are you serious...at Angkor Wat?
@picturephoenix I understand what u are saying but think about! Everybody agrees that the black man was first right. Then they all agree that we left out of Africa and peopled the world right. So why is it hard to believe that they made the basis of the religions in that region! Are you implying that soon as they cross over African boundaries in a twinkle of an eye they magicaly turned in to other races that instant LOL! Please look up Khoi San and Pygmies
I am remembering a Book that I read a very long time ago, maybe back in the early 1990s that is very relative too this Video/Documentary, the Book is named "The Northern Gods of Buddhism" which really dealt with this Ancient History.
GOSPEL MUSIC IS AMAZING COUPLED WITH THE VIDEO IT MAY CONVEY A SENSE OF BLACK DIVINITY ITS ALL ABOUT P; PERCEPTION AND INVESTIGATING TRUTH AND CRITICAL THINKING.
