Hey, I just ment to say that particular tone would drive me crazy. I have been an AO for 15 years now and always wear a headset when I drive so I can hear my officer as well as dispatch. After a while the siren and the Q get anoying especialy on a long run. Cowboy firefighter...lol lol

That power call siren SUCKS. The Q by itself is fine. We dont use the power call on the west coast. Just your standard wail or yelp with the Q. See the LAFD Sta 9 post on youtube.

Personally the powercall gets my attention a lot more than any other siren. And don't worry, he does this to most videos contain a clip of a powercall siren. To think that he has nothing better to do in his life between that and sucking on his mom's tit.
There are a few that have fire scene footage, but you're right, they aren't numerous. Most of my vids are for more minor things (ie, things that I don't have to pack up for). With fires, I'm usually more worried about having everything ready by the time we get to the scene.

i don't want to be rude or arrogant but this fire truck is pretty slow. If you're working with the amsterdam fire departement in the netherlands you would notice that the average speed of an fire truck is about 60 kmph (downtown) and 130-140 kmph on the highway.
The maximum speed in amsterdam (downtown)= 50 kmph and on the dutch highways= 100 kmph
Well some drivers drive with regard for others. Im not sure of the conversion from kmpg to mph (US) but we don't need to do 95 to get to the fire. It's still gonna be burning when we get there even if we do 60.
The camera angle is a little decieving, it was going faster than it looks. Plus, pretty much every light we hit was red, and American drivers are stupid around emergency vehicles.

As far as the Powercall, it's a tradition in the DC/Baltimore/Philly region. I really don't give a fuck if you don't like it. It sounds good to us and it gets people the fuck out of our way.

i don't want to be rude or arrogant but this fire truck is pretty slow. If you're working with the amsterdam fire departement in the netherlands you would notice that the average speed of an fire truck is about 60 kmph (downtown) and 130-140 kmph on the highway.
The maximum speed in amsterdam (downtown)= 50 kmph and on the dutch highways= 100 kmph

Well some drivers drive with regard for others. Im not sure of the conversion from kmpg to mph (US) but we don't need to do 95 to get to the fire. It's still gonna be burning when we get there even if we do 60.

The camera angle is a little decieving, it was going faster than it looks. Plus, pretty much every light we hit was red, and American drivers are stupid around emergency vehicles.

oowh i didn´t know that but over here in the netherlands drivers are also pretty stupid and idiot. I´m a dutch police officer and when you put your sirens on people won´t mova away imm. because their traffic light is red. And they are afraid that the will be fined by the camera system if they drive through the red light
